Assistant Mechanic – Truck Trailer Workshop
Do you have a passion for mechanics and enjoy hands-on work? Join our team as an Assistant Mechanic and support the restoration and repair of truck trailers. You’ll work on everything from structural damage to mechanical systems, performing tasks such as:
- Repairing and rebuilding trailer bodies
- Replacing parts like brakes, air bellows, struts, and lights
- Performing mechanical work, including welding and damage repair
- Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Assisting with the installation of walking floors and other key trailer components
Work takes place indoors in a well-equipped garage, and tasks are physically demanding, involving hands, arms, and shoulders. Every day offers a new challenge and an opportunity to develop your skills.
We’re looking for someone practical, reliable, and eager to learn:
- Some mechanical experience is required
- Welding experience is a strong advantage, but can be learned on the job
- Technical education or demonstrable technical skills
- Able to work quickly, accurately, and stay focused during repetitive tasks
- Physical fitness for handling heavy materials
- Own work clothes required
- English level 4 or Polish-speaking
- Ability to cycle to work
- Tractor or truck license is a plus (for operating a Terminal Trekker)
- CV required for client presentation

Starting salary: €15.64 per hour, with potential growth to €16.35 per hour
