Summer Job – Supermarket Assistant in Zeeland
Spend your summer working in the beautiful beach village of Renesse! This role combines a fun working environment with time to enjoy the beach and local attractions.
Your role at the supermarket:
- Work as a cashier or shelf filler
- Serve tourists and customers from around the world, so good English communication skills are essential
- Maintain neatness and professionalism; a work shirt will be provided, but you should bring appropriate jeans (no sportswear)
Shifts:
- Your schedule may vary, starting in the morning or afternoon
- The client will try to coordinate days off with friends where possible
Teamwork:
- Work alongside a multicultural team, enjoying a lively and supportive environment
Duration:
- Work is guaranteed at least until the end of December, with potential for further assignments
Ability to communicate well in English
Able to cycle to work
Open to all nationalities; diversity is welcomed
Both individuals and groups (friends, couples) can apply
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
Able to join a short introductory video call via FaceTime or WhatsApp
Driver’s license not required, but having one can be advantageous
Hourly wage: €15.31 per hour
Overtime: 135% of standard pay (€20.67 per hour) for hours above 40 per week
Guaranteed work: at least 38 hours per week, potentially more during the busy summer period
Weekend shifts included, maximum 5–6 workdays per week
Daily unpaid 1-hour break
